The 2017-2019 English Access Microscholarship Program Announcement

The U.S. Embassy Chisinau is pleased to announce a call for grants proposals from potential implementing partners for the 2017-2019 English Access Microscholarship Program (Access).

The purpose of the Access program is to provide disadvantaged youth with an opportunity to learn the English language and enhance leadership through teaching the basics of American culture and values of democratic development and civic engagement.  The program benefits secondary school students from underprivileged families.  The Access program must provide two years of English study, consisting of at least 180 hours of instruction per year.

To be eligible for consideration, every applicant must be currently engaged in an English language teaching program. Both governmental and non-governmental organizations are eligible to apply for this program.

Please find the complete information about the program and template for proposals.  Proposals should include both a narrative project description and a detailed budget breakdown in Microsoft Excel format.  Both narrative project and budget breakdown should be in English and completed in electronic form.  Please submit your applications no later than May 4, 2017 to Education-Moldova@state.gov.  For questions related to the program details and application process please send a message to Education-Moldova@state.gov .
