The U.S. Mission to Moldova announces the opening of the recruitment season for Moldovan host institutions interested in hosting a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) during the academic year 2024-2025.
This program invites professional, trade schools, colleges, and universities located outside of Chisinau to apply to host a native English language teaching assistant for one academic year from September 2024 to May 2025. The ETA Program aims to support English teaching and learning at Moldovan educational institutions. ETAs’ responsibilities include teaching English through listening and speaking, while implementing cultural exchange programs.
The Moldova ETA program seeks to foster English learning in Moldova while providing for cultural exchange between Americans and Moldovan students in the interest of promoting mutual understanding and intercultural cooperation. ETAs are U.S. college graduates eager to teach English overseas and serve as cultural ambassadors of the United States.
