More than 3,400 Moldovans have participated in the U.S. Government sponsored exchange programs since the U.S. Embassy launched them in 1993.
Program participants become program alumni when they return to Moldova after their educational or professional exchange experience in the United States. The U.S. Embassy Alumni Program works to assist them in sharing the experience and knowledge they gained while in the U.S., as well as in implementing new ideas and best practices here in Moldova through the Alumni Small Grants Program, and through various events organized to facilitate networking and professional exchange among alumni and the greater alumni community.
The Alumni Affairs Division of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) is pleased to announce that International Exchange Alumni is now ECA’s primary online space to engage alumni of U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs, taking the place of the State Alumni website. The new website offers a faster, more modern, interactive, and accessible website. Exchange alumni are invited to explore this more innovative, user-friendly website featuring enhanced resources from State Alumni as well as new tools to connect and engage with their peers.
