U.S. Ambassador Pettit Swears In New Peace Corps Volunteers

U.S. Ambassador James D. Pettit officiated the swearing-in ceremony for 55 new Peace Corps Volunteers on August 16.  The new 55 volunteers arrived in Moldova on June 6.  They recently completed the training course to become English and Health Education teachers and Community and Organizational Development workers throughout Moldova. During the training, they stayed with Moldovan host families and began learning Romanian language.
